Louise Ann Close
Louise Ann Close is a dancer/musical theatre performer and teacher, originally from Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire.
After finishing school Louise moved down to London at 17 to train professionally at the prestigious ‘Laine Theatre Arts’, receiving the honour of a full scholarship and graduating with a National Diploma in Dance & Musical Theatre.
Credits whilst training professionally include:
Lola in Damn Yankees, Little Red Riding Hood in Into The Woods and Bambi in Curtains.
Upon graduation, Louise was offered her first professional role, “June April” in The Union Theatre revival of Noel Coward’s “Ace of Clubs” musical and has played various roles in pantomimes and dance shows across the UK.
Since then, Louise has been embarking on her journey into teaching and discovered her passion and dedication of being a part of the ongoing progression of young performers and impacting their lives.
She has taught various classes/workshops and been an Assistant Director and Choreographer on several shows. Louise has performed in various theatres all over the country.
Louise is also the Principal of The Pauline Quirke Academy ‘Welwyn Garden City’ also know as ‘PQA Welwyn’
